  2. Some Graduate Schools of Education do not ask for GRE scores in general. Some depend on the program. Are there any programs you know that do not ask for GRE scores/optional GRE scores?

  5. Hello everyone, Since the application deadlines are getting closer and closer, I wanted to open this topic. Maybe we can share where and which programs we apply and exchange ideas. Hello Alex, I think the best way to do this is to check the faculty of the universities you want to apply and see yourself if there are any professors working on the issues you want to specialize in. That is the path I have taken and I got some feedback and support from some professors about the application process and my research statement. Kind regards, Kemal
  7. Which other colleges offer fully funded programs in PoliSci? As far as I know, Michigan Ann Arbor and University of Chicago are two of those. Thank you and good luck.
  8. @BunniesInSpace The thing is I am currently on the process of moving to Chicago and that is why I wanted to apply to colleges around there. I am aware of the low GPA of my undergrad studies but fingers crossed. Thank you for the answer.

Type of Institution: In Turkey, we can say the best of the country Undergrad: English Language Teaching (Still got + 7 Poli-Sci courses though) and American Studies Minor with honorsGPA: 3.39 Grad: In UK- One of the best in Diplomacy - Global Diplomacy MA GPA: Still WaitingResearch experience: I have got 1 book review and my undergrad thesis on Political Science published in a journal Teaching Experience: I have taught English and Social Sciences in High SchoolsLoRs: From PoliSci professors, hoping that they will be strongExchange: participated in an exchange program at a well know European University where I was a RA in Social Sciences InstituteSubfield: IR and DiplomacyITELS: 7.5 GRE: Haven't taken yet I have contacted some of the professors I would like to work with, they have approached me really positively and found my research very interesting. Still though, My Undergrad GPA and the fact that my undergrad is from a different department concern me a lot. I am thinking of applying to Northwestern, Univ. of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola and UI Urbana Champaign. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
