Briefly, I applied for 3 different schools and was admitted by all of them with full funding (UW/UCLA/Columbia).
My only suggestion is to find the advisor who fits your research interest and can provide you research platforms and opportunities.
Until yesterday, I received all my 3 PhD application admission decisions.
UW - accepted
UCLA - accepted
Columbia - accepted
I will choose one between UW & UCLA, won't consider Columbia. Until now, UW offered at least 4 years funding, still waiting for UCLA's financial packages. But based on my communication with current students and recent graduates, it should be pretty good as well. So it's gonna be a hard decision to make.
Hi,
did anyone hear anything from the PhD program at Columbia University?
Not sure whether they will conduct interview or not.
Based on last years, it seems they didn't send out any interview invitation. But in their system it showed "Interview: Awaiting".
Anyone applied this program as well?
Hi everyone,
I just received the offer from UCLA yesterday. The program directer sent an email following with a phone call.
Also, I had my interview with the UW in Seattle on 01/28, and still waiting for their decision.
BTW, Anyone knows/receives anything from Columbia University?
These are the 3 programs that I applied this season.
