I would argue that money/class = safety is true of any region, though, and that urbanity is more essential to queer safety than geographic region.
Edit: Safety via legislation could be different, but I'm not familiar enough with queer legislation in other areas to comment on it.
Why not? Just wondering because I’m a southerner. We get a bad rap but there’s a lot of progressive folks down here and especially in cities and college towns.
I also avoided any program requiring the GRE, which is why I didn’t apply to Michener center. If I was wrong about them requiring the GRE I’m going to be very, very sad.
Thanks y’all...glad to know I’m not alone! I’m taking a break from writing and started learning embroidery. Lately specific lines from my writing sample have been crossing my mind and making me cringe. I’m sure that’s anxiety. Staying busy helps and I will def try everything mentioned.
