  1. Which scholarship did you apply for? Congratulations!! I believe from other posts here you have to wait for the formal email / message notification and paperwork, but I would advise emailing your local DAAD office.
  2. Congratulations! That’s so well done! What are you studying? Have they let you know any more beyond being awarded?
  3. I haven’t done it, but if I were you just to be sure you could take a photo of your signature and copy and paste it into the document if it’s a PDF, or sign and scan. Some places can be rightfully not ok with you just typing your full name out.
  4. I messaged the Portal regarding when Asia Pacific Masters candidates might here something, and this was the reply
  5. I've got it as well - not sure if its an automated thing if nothing has happened on either end? Curious and curiouser
  6. Oh thats wonderful! Congratulations - I'm so glad! it's quite funny to see us all panicking on here, and how happy people are when it gets confirmed ?
  7. I don’t think it can be although not positive as to EPOS. What usually happens with the more general scholarships is that the DAAD office you applied to will recommend a particular language course length, but I’m not sure as to EPOS specifically. I would email your DAAD contact office or the University who submitted you for EPOS, but there would probably have to be specific reasons as to why because of the way the budget is allocated. edit : after looking at this https://www2.daad.de/downloads/foerderprogramm/file.php?id=5295 - every German course is pretty much 2 months unless otherwise specified.
  8. That’s great! Congratulations! Which / what type of scholarship was it? Such as EPOS etc? And have they told you about the language lessons?
  9. Ugh bit of a nightmare! Not anyone’s fault but just an absolute pain... don’t even know what to do with myself to be honest. Oh well
  10. It’s Monday, which means we all get to start the weekly fiasco of refreshing the DAAD portal, and checking our emails like mad people for news. Good luck for this week everyone, and don’t forget to update us all as to news and your region!
  11. I haven’t found out yet! If I am successful though I do want to move there as soon as possible - I’ve already been learning German for over six months here. The visa situation is also relatively easy - I do hope they are able to move quickly with yours!
  12. Congratulations times a million Simo! Brilliant job! So excited - will you be off to Germany then / doing a language course?
  13. Hi greta - just wondering if you know why they picked Dusseldorf?
  14. Update that I talked to my nearby DAAD office, and they're thinking it'll be March. Last time they communicated with Bonn they weren't done deciding. Oh well
  15. I would take it 'with a pinch of salt' so to speak. Mine changed ages ago and honestly I don't think its worth getting too hyped anyway unless we know for sure - it'll be incredibly disappointing otherwise.
