  1. I was just accepted to UNT today, so I can safely say they are rolling out decisions!!
  2. Hi! I'm looking for clarification on how to apply for scholarships once you've been accepted. I'm sure each school approaches this differently, but for example, I've been accepted to UT Health San Antonio and on their website it says that in order to apply for scholarships, I "must apply for admission into SHP and be accepted into a program of study (matriculated)". So does this mean I won't be able to apply until I have accepted their offer? It says I need to do this in their student portal but I don't have any of that information and I'm assuming it comes after I accept on my end? I'm definitely going to need scholarships to make this work lol. P.S. I already filled out my FAFSA and added the school. Thanks y'all ?
  3. I will see you on the 28th then and I'll come prepared with questions LOL. Do you like living there? It looks way cheaper to live in San Antonio than Dallas!
  4. I also was just admitted to UT Health San Antonio today! I will be attending their open house on February 28th to see what it's all about because I also don't know much about San Antonio life. Congratulations to you both!
  5. So far, I haven't heard of anyone getting a response from UNT yet (both online or on campus) but it should be very soon! I am completing my undergrad here and I can advocate for the program here. Most of the professors are clinicians themselves so if you choose to come here, you'll have excellent supervision. Good luck! I can let you know if I hear anything.
  6. Yay! How exciting. I am still waiting to hear from all of my schools, including UTDallas but here's hoping! Congrats!
  7. From what I understand, it can depend on their application deadline? For example, schools that had a December deadline, you can expect to hear something around February. UT Health San Antonio had a deadline of February 1st (relatively late compared to some of the others), so maybe March? I saw a blog post where someone said most acceptances take place January/February and rejections are sent in March but I don't think that's 100% true (if you consider the deadlines). Hope that helps and good luck to you too!
  8. I applied to six schools and I'm still waiting to hear back from each! It's getting closer and I am growing ever more anxious, but also excited of course.
