Hello! I am also an out-of-field student. All of the schools listed in my signature include extended programs for those who did not major in CSD (ranging from 1 semester to an additional year). I know Georgia State offers tons of tuition waivers and graduate assistantships for their accepted students! A lot of the students I spoke with said that a great majority of their class has their education funded. It is an extremely affordable option. Hope this helps !

I haven't heard back from University of Memphis or North Carolina Central University. It's difficult because I can't make a final decision until I hear back from UofM. ?

Hi everyone! Congratulations on receiving interviews from Georgia State! I wanted to ask if any of you received any confirmation messages after selecting a time. I submitted my time around February 19th but have yet to receive any confirmation about it. Also, does anyone know if we are having 1-1 interviews or if we will be placed in groups? I am getting kinda nervous thinking about it ?

Hello! I am kinda in the same boat now. I recently emailed the department and asked for some sort of funding. They responded well to it and said that they were working diligently to help me find some in the graduate school itself. It may also be worthwhile to email the program telling them that they are your top choice, but that you would need funding in order to attend. Depending on the school, it is also possible to find a graduate assistantship in another department by emailing those faculty.
