I'm hoping for good news from UofT for the Human Geography MA. I was told by my potential supervisor not to expect an answer until mid-March. What about you?

I'm not sure they'll have an answer for you! At least in my field, not every faculty member is solicited to review applications. That said, if your last communication was in October, I think you can definitely check in. Just say you're eager to have news and maybe ask about the projects they're working on at the moment. It's appropriate if you have a nice attitude and treat them like a future colleague

I've applied for a Geography masters at UofT and my (potential) supervisor told me to expect an answer sometime in March. Can't wait. The time frame might be different for international applicants though! Best of luck to everyone.
