    Hey everyone! Second time applicant here. I just want to say to keep calm, and stay positive! I applied first time in 2019 and got wait listed at U of T and never got in. I persevered, and heard back from McGill MSW advanced standing last week.

    Even though I'm still waiting to hear back from the other schools I applied to, I wanted to say that everything happens for a reason, and if you don't get in at first, definitely try again! There are so many opportunities for you to boost your resume and application and you will eventually get in somewhere :)

    I applied to UBC, Mcgill, U of T and York for advanced standing. I have a BSW from York, and almost 4000 hours of Social Service experience! Im praying for an acceptance! Does anyone know when Mcgill usually releases acceptances? My profile changed to "in review" a few weeks ago but still nothing!

    Hey... My U of T Advanced standing application still says submitted. I havent seen many posts that they have changed, but not sure if im wrong about this. I think usually advanced standing here back Mid/Late Feb/First week of March.... I applied a few years ago and thats what I heard.

    Hey! Honestly I am from Toronto but I have heard a lot of about UBCO being absolutely amazing. My friend went there just a few years back. You are in the beautiful Okanagan to start and honestly  I have heard the environment is extremely supportive and helpful. Good luck!

    Does anyone have any knowledge about people they know getting off the wait list for U of T? Like how many people do they know that were taken off the wait list? (This may have been written a lot earlier in the feed but there are so many responses it's hard to find) :D

    I'm not sure. I had a friend who got rejected from OISE this year and it was a letter uploaded to SGS. so I don't know if they will do it the same.

    Yes this is on the weekends! Friday and Saturday. The bonus is that you get to work full-time during the week at least to make money. That's always nice.     I just got mine as well. Acorn changed on Sunday, I just received an email to check SGS where "under review" had changed to "decision made" and there was a new link underneath to download a "decision document".

    For those still waiting, I believe someone confirmed this is just the first round of acceptances, so hang in there.

    Did everyone receive their status change on acorn yesterday? Wondering if they are releasing more throughout the day and week. trying to fio if they sent out all of the acceptances last night or if it is rolling.
