  1. Yes, it's for the 2 year foundational MSW program. I was notified by an email saying that my application was unsuccessful.
  2. Got rejected at UBCO. I applied January 8 and my last document was uploaded on Jan 31. So I think UBCO has probably come to the end of their processing. For those who are still waiting, I believe you will hear back from them anytime from now. Wish you all best of luck.
  3. Thank you for the advice. I've just emailed them, hope it was simply due to a system glitch. Finger crossed for both of us.
  4. Chill out my friend. I got no email from UBCO since the day I applied. Have no idea about what happened with my application.☹️
  5. It's okay. A lot of people will accept one offer first while still waiting for others. You can later reject the offer you accepted before if you hear good news from any other school.? The only thing is you may have to pay the deposit to keep a spot for that school. Hope that helps.
  6. I'm also waiting for any movement for the 2 waitlists. Btw, just checked your profile, it seems you got waitlisted by King's quite early? On March 16th? If that's the case, you may probably hear back from King's earlier than me bcz I got my waitlist email about one week later. ?
  7. I totally feel you. Social work is the only career I want to pursue and I literally spent almost every minute of my free time during my undergraduate and the following several years volunteering, trying to get closer to an MSW program (I'm an international student living in a country where social workers can hardly pay for rents with unbelievable low salaries. I also have to take care of my mom who lives with severe mental illness so unfortunately I could not work as a social worker for the past few years although I extremely want to, which in turn makes my CV weaker than most applicants I believe.) I know it's really hard to keep calm when we keep hearing people getting good news while we get nothing. I've been trying not to doubt myself or break down but sadly I never made it. I just want to let you know that you're never alone. Also, as we can see, things are not over yet so maybe we'll hear some good news any time from now.
  8. Hello everybody! I just found that I got waitlisted by King's. Since I am an international student and the admission procedure for graduate students in my country is totally different from that of Canada (usually we have to pass an exam with satisfying score before getting into any graduate school. Also, there is no such thing like "waitlist" in my country, only "offer" and "rejection". So clearly we are not sharing the same application culture lol), I am wondering what I should do after receiving their email notifying the waitlist decision. Should I respond to their email telling them I would like to be on their waitlist? OR should I just wait for their further notification? Any reply would be appreciated! Thxx! ?
  9. Thank you so much for your sharing!!! My eGAS still shows in process but my last initial is Z.? Hope I could see some changes today then I will not have to wait for another weekend. Anyway, congratulations!!!
  10. Congrats!!!! Are you international or domestic student? I'm also curious about when you submitted your application.
  11. Just an update for those who applied to Manitoba 2 year. I know someone's status has just changed to "under final review" and you could expect to hear from them in 2-3 weeks.
  12. Thank you so much for your kind reply and the information? Finger crossed for my application!
