Anyone know how soon after interviews programs send out acceptance/denials? I'm sure it's quite variable but just curious what people think/know

Does anyone know program acceptance rates post interview? Is it similar across programs? How about the top programs?

Has anybody heard from Harvard BBS? If so, does anyone know if they send out offers in waves based on the track or have they already finished with sending out their invitations? I noticed some entries on the results page but most of them didn't specify a BBS track.
What results page?

lol just got an email from NSF that my GRFP proposal was returned without review because it focuses on human health. It doesn't, but it's in life sciences so the broader impacts are obv applicable to human health.
At least you all know they are reviewing!

But is the Molec / Neuro /etc. program thru A&S, or is it thru the med school? Perhaps it's both?
Perhaps both? I’ve now heard some programs such as physics are still accepting students but some are not. Best to email the program!!!
(Sorry if this ends up being wrong for some programs and scared people)

It's def overwhelming given the pandemic. The main message from PhD program directors (biosciences) at the virtual NIH grad fair was: 1) gre requirements being dropped by multiple programs that previously required them but haven't updated their webpages (e.g. Miami, UT Health at San Antonio, etc), 2) interviews likely being virtual depending on state/city (sad), and 3) apply to more schools than usual bc of covid (fee waivers are available).
Did they say more fee waivers will be available than usual, or they didn’t specify that?

I definitely need to get my act together! I took the GRE in April and secured my LORs, but I really need to start my essays so that I have time to apply for grants in October! What about you?
Decided to not take the GRE since the programs I'm looking into don't require it, but I've got a good start on my SOP. Just need to edit it a bit after talking with my PI, but I think it's going okay! Anyone applying to the GRFP, did you see the changes announced recently..? How is everyone's app prep coming along? ?

If anyone wants to bounce ideas off of regarding programs to apply to, application components, etc I would be interested in chatting!

Does anyone have a good sense of what is discussed during interviews with PIs? Obviously they want to talk about your past experiences a bit, but what else? Classic interview questions like "Why this program" and "Why a PhD", or others?
