  1. Does anyone have a good sense of what is discussed during interviews with PIs? Obviously they want to talk about your past experiences a bit, but what else? Classic interview questions like "Why this program" and "Why a PhD", or others?
  2. Anyone know how soon after interviews programs send out acceptance/denials? I'm sure it's quite variable but just curious what people think/know
  3. Does anyone know program acceptance rates post interview? Is it similar across programs? How about the top programs?
  4. Nvm, I think you mean this one: https://www.thegradcafe.com/survey/index.php?q=harvard&t=m&o=&pp=25
  5. lol just got an email from NSF that my GRFP proposal was returned without review because it focuses on human health. It doesn't, but it's in life sciences so the broader impacts are obv applicable to human health. At least you all know they are reviewing!
  6. A little birdie told me Yale BBS is starting to send out interview invites
  7. Is there another similar thread on here? I feel like it's pretty quiet compared to years past...
  8. Perhaps both? I’ve now heard some programs such as physics are still accepting students but some are not. Best to email the program!!! (Sorry if this ends up being wrong for some programs and scared people)
  9. https://www.reddit.com/r/gradadmissions/comments/itibo0/upenn_arts_sciences_has_just_announced_no_new_phd/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
  10. Wasn't planning on applying to Penn, but they just announced all their Arts and Sciences PhD programs are not accepting applications this cycle
  11. Did they say more fee waivers will be available than usual, or they didn’t specify that?
  12. Decided to not take the GRE since the programs I'm looking into don't require it, but I've got a good start on my SOP. Just need to edit it a bit after talking with my PI, but I think it's going okay! Anyone applying to the GRFP, did you see the changes announced recently..?
