It does seem like someone is just having fun messing with everyone today - UVA and UNC. Then again, 2 years ago UNC did postal... Either way this process is making me go postal.

Coloardo should go under the potentially list. There isn't much information on the results page, but people did hear back at the end of Jan/first week of Feb.

Ok, so I WAS for this chat room and I was in it last night talking to you for a bit t_ruth, but today when I went to log in I saw the history and someone had logged in earlier today wiht MY screen name. WTF? I don't think they said anything, but then later to have a friend ask me why I was acting so strange.... t_ruth, is there anyway to make a registration necessary for that room? I don't like the idea of someone being able to talk under my screen name.

One of mine did that. I'd say either don't fill it out - if you can because it's online and sometime you can ignore that. Or just list that school and no others... or lie...

Uh oh. If it's one of those, I'll prob lose sleep. I've got all 4 books. I'm sure I'll prob finish them this weekend.

I think I'll read the Twilight series next...it's going to be perfect for mindless reading to distract myself from this process.

I'm not sure about this. I forgot that Colorado had a master's program, too. I wonder if one committee does both or if they have two committees... If there's one, I'd bet they make PhD decisions before they masters decisions...but for both our sakes, my friend, I hope we hear something soon. BTW, why did you not apply for the PhD program? You have great stats. Side note: I'm starting to get a little down about my chances...

I'm sorry convex. I know it sucks - but don't give up hope yet. Illinios is just one school. (I'm trying not to, also)

That board is filled with nonsense...however, I applied to 2 of those schools so I hope it's true... (only if they want me, that is...pleaseeeeeeee let someone want me)

Okay I need to get this sorted out.... Expected ASAP Illinois Michigan State UNC Ohio State WashU Davis - CHECK Who am I leaving out? Anybody know anything about University of Colorado, Boulder? Anybody apply there?

The poliscijob rumors blog answered that question about whether or not we can expect later decisions because of an increase in applications and almost all said no... take that for what it's worth (which isn't much) And UC Davis and WUSTL have gotten back around their normal times.

I'm so sick of waiting that I can't even put it into words. It's bad. Wose than bad. I don't know where to begin. I laughed at reading through the posts last year thinking 'there's no waaaaaaaaay I'll feel that anxious' -----I'm pretty sure I'm worse than anyone from last year. The next 2 weeks are long. Too long.

lol - I hate that we even have to consider that someone would lie about a result. It's just cruel and wrong and down right stupid. But Davis did get back to people early last year...I'm not sure if I believe it, but I'm not as ready to dismiss it as that one a month ago that was accepted 3 weeks after he posted. lol I bet it's a real post - so congrats anonymous and register so you can post and tell us all about it.

This is really funny because I was just thinking about this. I didn't realize that I did it, but I give up around 3PM. Not really sure why, but I guess my subconscience decided that if they knew anything today, I'd know by now.

Wow, that's intense. Except that I'm pretty much just like you except for list of area codes. About 5 minutes ago I got a call from a number I didn't recognize, and it was automated telling me that my car warranty was about to expire. My hands were shaking when I hung up. Isn't that dumb? Anyway, I'm on here all day plus hitting refresh every 5 minutes on the results page hoping (or not hoping?) that political science results will FINALLY start going out. I should be doing work, but for some reason I just cannot focus - not for the life of me. And it's getting to the point now where I realize my days are becoming a waste! On that note - maybe I should actually get off of here for at least 30 minutes to get myself together!
