I uploaded a letter of rec using Interfolio, then my app got flagged for "having been submitted from the same computer used to submit letters of recommendation for other applicants to Columbia School of Social Work by different referees". I emailed an explanation though and everything was fine.

Hi all! I applied to Columbia Jan 7 but the application wasn't complete until Feb 11. Yesterday I received an email that my application had been flagged for an issue during review. Hopefully this provides a little more insight into where Columbia is at in looking at applications!

Definitely! When it comes down to it, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the quality of UCLA's program vs programs at other schools. Just depends where you personally want to go! Cost is always significant too ?

No problem! I'm choosing to go to a Cal State instead, where the tuition is just generally significantly cheaper Figured that if I saved money on tuition I'd be able to actually afford a car, which would be helpful for field and life in general lol! I went to UCLA for undergrad so I see it as an opportunity to experience life in a new area too.

Congrats! I was accepted but declined due to not receiving any financial aid (I am in state if that matters). They sent the financial aid letter a few days after the acceptance!

I interviewed 3 weeks ago too and have just been waiting. It seems like the majority of people in the CA MSW facebook group are waiting too, but a few have been accepted ? -

Just got an acceptance email from USC! My application was submitted 1/11, but the transcripts weren't fully processed until 2/1.

I can definitely relate to you! No one I personally know has obtained a graduate degree. Even when I was applying for my Bachelor's I had to figure everything out, lol! I attended UCLA for undergrad and want to go back to the area so I'm also applying to Southern California schools. Good luck :)
