Head's up y'all - there's a Brown acceptance today, email to check portal. Drafters are saying it might be a troll, so keep your eyes peeled. We'll know one way or the other soon enough I guess! Edit: says it's poetry, which is totally feasible considering poetry often gets done before fiction, but I'll believe it when I see it

Hey has anyones UVA application status changed? Mine still says "Submitted" and some other people say that theirs says they're under review or something. I've only heard heresay about this so it may not be true, but I didn't know if it was like UMD's "Under Graduate Review" situation where it basically means I've already been nixed. Any info is welcome!

Just got rejected from Cornell. Idk who the hell was emailing me from the Graduate Committee before but they were wrong, all waitlists and rejections are out. I'm so livid I could scream.

Update - my cry into the abyss was answered in Draft!!! Someone said they talked to a Cornell faculty member over email this week and fiction acceptances have yet to come out. They said they'll probs be out by the end of the week (though idk if that means work week which is Friday or just the week in general which means Sunday) Holding out so much hope!!!

In the wake of my rejection from Syracuse (ouch) I send yet another imploring plea out into the universe: has LITERALLY ANYONE heard anything about fiction calls for Cornell yet??? I absolutely refuse to believe there were 0 fiction acceptances on here AND on draft for BOTH Cornell and Syracuse, that shit's too whack for my brain to entertain rn

Welp that's it for Syracuse acceptances folks, a second Syracuse student confirmed that the coordinator contacted all admits already. I'm holding out for a waitlist (and some new from Cornell smh)!

Tbh I'm in the boat of "I'm going to pretend I still have a chance at Syracuse and Cornell until literally told otherwise"....... like a hopeful child.....

They said and I quote: "Syracuse acceptances are out for both fiction and poetry. Not sure if calls went out but it looks like Terri has emailed all of the accepted writers" I don't know if that means that just decisions have been made and the calls are still going out, but I suppose if there is no correspondence by the end of the night then its game over (at least, if you want an acceptance - idk about waitlist)

Heads up again!!! As if me waiting for Cornell and Temple's call wasn't bad enough, there was a Syracuse acceptance (unknown genre) on twitter today. If someone doesn't call me before Friday I'm gonna lose it UPDATE: looks like she's poetry!!! UPDATE AGAIN: someone in draft who is in the Syracuse MFA rn said that all fiction and poetry emails and calls have either all already gone out or are going out tonight. Guess I'll have to strike that one off my list, sigh

Looks like a last year thing, she only got the call like an hour ago (ish) and she's the only notification I've seen. I've also heard rumors around draft that someone from the Cornell fiction board tweeted they were still reviewing apps. I wouldn't put it past them to break it up by genre.
