Hi everyone, I just recieved an acceptance to the UofT MPH epidemiology program! I was hoping to connect with other students who are attending this upcoming September. If anyone else has gotten in I would love to connect!

They actually reached out to me with the update. It was sent to me on Tuesday at 6am.

I did get an email with a rough estimate of where I am on their waitlist.

Nothing back from UofT yet, still under review. They listed my ranking as “mid-range” so I don’t know how likely it is I will get off the wait list. I received the email at 6am

Got an email this morning from Queens officially stating I am on a ranked waitlist.

Waitlisted at Western. After a months of waiting, it was definitely not the news I was hoping for. Congrats to all those who have achieved acceptances so far!

Graduated with an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences with Biology with a cGPA of around 3.72/4.0 (this depends a bit on how they weigh my exchange marks). My L2GPA would be closer to 3.85 though. I also have taken 3 statistics courses that I achieved fairly high marks in (85-95 range). While I think my academic stats are ok, I am more worried about my public health/research experience. I didn't have to complete a thesis for my degree so I unfortunately don't have any research experience. I did have a practicum working at a pharmacy. I have also been working at a local hospital as a screener and assisting in the operations of the COVID-19 vaccination clinic and mobile vaccination team for LTC and retirement homes. I also have a variety of other volunteer/extracurricular experiences but I am not entirely sure how much those will support my application. I also thought I wrote a pretty compelling personal statement that will help me as a candidate.

I am hoping to get accepted to UofT's MPH Epidemiology stream. Although, I know how competitive the program can be and would be happy to receive any acceptances to the schools I applied to

I hope so! Being in this limbo right now is definitely the most stressful part of the application process IMO.

Do you know if all references are due with the submission date or if the deadline for reference submissions is later?

Hey everyone, hope everyone's application has gone well! I had a question regarding the MPH application for Queen's program. Under the application process, it asks about relevant skills and abilities under the resume portion. How have others gone about formatting this? Any help would be appreciated as I was expecting them to just require a CV/Resume that is uploaded. Thanks!
