It seems like a lot of people on here just searched "US News and Report top Neuroscience PhDs" and applied to the first ten schools they saw ? very few people get into these programs, I would suggest applying to some lesser known schools that still have great research programs as well!

Has anyone heard from Carnegie Mellon Neural Computation Program? I saw that people heard back from the Systems Neuroscience Program but not the Neural Computation one!

As someone who is/has been on waitlists, DON'T WAIT TO SEND IN YOUR ACCEPTANCES! Send them in as early as possible so both the school and the people on the waitlist can make their final decisions!
