  1. I also have not heard back yet about a definite date, I wouldn't worry yet!
  2. Aww thank you so much! Congrats to you as well, you're killing it! I hope you also get your top choice!
  3. So glad you made this group! Nice to meet you! Congrats on the interviews so far Naima77! About me: Mexican-American applicant, first-generation college graduate. I attended a state school for undergrad where I did research for 4 years, summer internships in biotech industry, and then did a 3-year post-bac at the Broad Institute. I didn't take the GRE, UGPA: 3.81. Presented at a few conferences, publication in review and a few in progress, but only applied with publication in review. Currently have interviews for Yale, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, MSKCC, Northwestern, UCLA, University of Chicago, and UPenn. Still waiting on MIT, Brown, UCSD, NYU, and Stanford. My approach: apply to 16 graduate schools (in retrospect I would have possibly narrowed that down further) out of fear of missing another application cycle and hope for the best! Looking forward to meeting others that are applying!
  4. Thank you! No don't say that! There's still a lot of time, and I feel like schools may not be operating as they would other years due to COVID. It isn't easy, so you shouldn't be too hard on yourself. I've had a rollercoaster ride to get to this point and took a third gap year off to do research to strengthen my application, so I know it can be rough. It isn't a reflection on you or your abilities, it may just be a tough year and there is still time! Keep your head up, you got this!
  5. I actually just heard back from JHU CMM program today around 8 pm, I would check your email!
  6. Not confirmed, I just saw in previous posts that people had received interviews already and I haven't heard anything. Nice! I hope we hear back soon, JHU is a great program.
  7. Thank you! The email did have my name at the top, but I just received this email at 4:17 today, so I would just keep an eye out on your email and maybe check junk in case. I really hope you hear back and goodluck!
  8. My invite had the heading "Confirmation for Northwestern Driskill Graduate Program Interview Weekend" and had my name at the start the email. I am not too familiar with how Northwestern is sending out invites, but it seems like some schools are releasing them in waves due to delays with COVID. I wouldn't lose hope yet, and I really hope you hear back!
