This is not true at all. All programs are required to be in a 5-year trial period when going through the initial accreditation process. You will not have a problem becoming certified or finding a job after graduation if you attend a school going through the process.

Lewis University in Chicago accepts students with 2.75 GPA, no GRE. There are a lot of new programs that don't require the GRE, will overlook GPA and rely more on your essay, LORs, experiences, and interview. Apply to as many schools as possible, look for developing programs, and turn in your application EARLY (like September-October instead of January-February). That will give the admissions committee a chance to look at your entire application. I received an early acceptance letter at my safety school, and although I am very grateful, I applied to 11 schools and would like to see if I get into an online program or somewhere closer to home. I am planning to accept this offer and pay the deposit (which I am willing to lose in the event I get accepted elsewhere) to secure my seat. Can I accept the offer now and then later decline it if I get into any of the other schools? Is this frown upon in graduate school? Could this affect me as a professional in any way down the road? Or am I overthinking this? The deadline is January 27th (not April 15th like most programs).
