For people got in to JHU BME, did you receive an admitted students open house invitation already?

I believe only part of the offers have been sent. None of international students around me (or on gradcafe) has received any decisions yet.

Broad, rotation, not sure 

For people who got JHU BME offers, do you get an admission to a specific track or is it just broad BME? Also, do any of you know if all admissions have been sent out?

I definitely know much people who don't have interviews received rejections, but there also seems to be some people who spoke to POIs that also received rej on the results posting page.

I already got rejected after interview so I guess there a lot of hope 

Hey, I heard from Duke CBB yesterday where I got an email to check my portal because the admissions decision was updated. Maybe they are sending them out in batches since you haven't heard anything yet? Hope everything works out

Forsure. Good luck. I’m planning to try and do follow up meeting to secure a direct. Prof I spoke with on Thursday said they are starting to admit in the next week or so. 

I assume so, yes. I'm an international applicant myself and was told that all the BIG interviews had been sent out, unfortunately.
I do feel as though they interview relatively few internationals, since the vast majority of their current students are American. I think I saw maybe one or two current students who are non-American.

That’s kinda what I was thinking as well, with the whole assigning people who picked only one date first and then filling in the rest. This is my first time applying to a PhD and I’ll be a first generation grad student, so I picked both dates to offer maximal flexibility. Good luck to you too!! We both totally got this!

Uhh I guess it's because you picked both dates so they chose to assign you to the later one. I think the early date would be a hit so they will first assign those only picked the early date to Jan 14. Don't worry, I don't think the school will waste their credit in such an ugly way haha. I'm sure you will hear back soon. Good luck with all the interviews!

Yeah the date was chosen before Christmas. I chose Jan 14-15 and they assigned an "interview buddy" and sent the detailed schedule in the past week. 

Thanks. In their second email before Christmas, they attached a form asking you to pick your interview date. You need to fill in that form and send back to them. You also need to go to the application portal and choose your interview professors and upload a profile photo. Did you do all that? 

Just got an informal interview from a professor today. He asked to meet before Thursday so I'm guessing the formal interviews will come next week or so.
