Sameeeeee. I was lurking last year's thread and found that some people were still waiting in June, like whattttt? If anyone still waiting on UofA is willing to email and ask when they are planning on giving us an update, that would be great. The last time I emailed two uni's I got both rejections the next day, hence I am scared to email myself ?

I think my emotions have completely desensitized after waiting so long lol. I don't even feel excited anymore ?

Thank you so so much for getting back to me!!!! I tried calling a few days back but couldn't reach either program via phone. I noticed that the Global Health System applications are still open and was debating if I should apply separately but it would be a waste of money if I get rejected by the MPH program but get offered the GHS. Maybe I'll contact GHS and see what their status is on available spots. I hope we hear back with some good news early June. The wait is definitely long, but hopefully worth it!

Did you apply to the MMASc program separately or did you check it off as "yes" in the original MPH program application?

Hi there. I'm really sorry to hear about that. You have AMAZING stats and I can understand the situation may be a frustrating. From an email conversation last year with the department, I was told they reserve half the seats for people with immense public health experience such as yourself and half the seats usually go to new undergrads with minimal experience. Not sure about the reason for your refusal into the MPH program, however I think that the MMASc program will be quite rewarding if you choose to accept that offer

Hey! I had also checked that off to be considered for the Global Health Systems program. I haven't heard anything back regarding it and not sure how that works apart from the normal admission offers. If you end up reaching out for more info, please let me know what they say I would really appreciate it!!

For everyone getting a refusal from UofA, what streams did you apply to? I'm waiting for my rejection as well lol.
