I just don't understand why it is so hard to give everyone one same answer instead of different answers to confuse everyone. I am very frustrated at their approach and extremely tired. If schools like Western, McGill, SFU, Queens, Mcmaster can do well. (time-wise).. what is waterloo not doing right?

LOL I agree with you GingerDwight. I can 100% say they did complete because when I called they had a spreadsheet of everyone. She said everyone who got rejected got rejected and everyone who were amazing got offers first round. Everyone waiting is just in the middle. Many of us in the middle including me was told if this was any other regular year, would have got in first round. The more people decline from first round.. more space opens up and so on. They probably will add few more spots.

I would choose the job and defer SFU. Jobs are hard to get but with your one year experience as a RA in UBC, you would be opening up so many doors of opportunities. School will always be there!!
