Hi! Yes I received an offer from UNCG and accepted. I know they are still working with me on additional funding (scholarships and their next gen scholar program) so I don't know if funding for assistantships is still up in the air or has already been finalized?

I know, academia has so many unspoken rules and etiquette it is wild. I will definitely let you know if I hear anything or if I end up reaching out though! Hopefully this excruciating wait will end soon lol

I haven't! I know they said they were interviewing people who couldn't make it to the 1/29 interview data but I feel like its been enough time they must have been able to meet with everyone. I was going to email either the PI or the student buddy I was assigned today to ask for a timeline, but I'm not sure if that will come across as annoying and I don't want to hurt my chances if they have yet to decide. I don't know if its acceptable to check in considering its been over 2 weeks and there hasn't been an update!

I did! I am assuming it was waitlisted for an interview, since they would likely interview if I was waitlisted and I haven't received anymore info. However, I haven't seen anyone report formal interview for them yet (I believe?) so it is possible they are still reviewing applicants. I honestly assume a rejection, because who would turn down an interview from them lol. But at least I know that I was at least considered a strong applicant which eases the sting and should be some consolation for you if it ends up being a rejection! I have my fingers crossed for you though!

Has anyone heard from ETSU? The results page has been pretty blank and I've been scrolling through this forum trying to find anything. I don't know if they are just taking their time especially considering they didn't require GREs or nobody has mentioned them. It is still reasonable for formal interviews, but if they are doing prelims it seems a bit late. My PI is DM. I'm not sure since when I reached out to her in October she said she was uncertain if she was taking students but encouraged me to apply anyway. We have a strong overlap in research interests so I figured it was worth a shot. ?‍♀️

Has anyone heard from SVS at UNC Greensboro? I had a preliminary interview with her that went pretty well (I think?) and she said I would know one way or the other in the second week of January, but it has been radio silence. I saw some other people received invites from UNCG, but I'm not sure if the invites are complete? Also, anyone heard anything from UNC Charlotte? It is a Health/Clinical program so I'm not sure if people are posting about it here. The deadline was November 15th so I'm getting antsy!
