  1. Definitely couldn’t hurt to reach out to the program you're waitlisted at and could possibly help. I would mention you have an acceptance at X, and are wondering if they could give you any info about your standing on the waitlist because you’re still very interested in the program and are waiting to hear back before making a decision. Couldn’t hurt! I say go for it. Good luck
  2. Pretty sure they come out with a new one every two years!
  3. My PI emailed to let me know I was waitlisted, but I removed myself from waitlists recently. Thank you and fingers crossed for you
  4. Anyone heard anything from Georgia State post-interview for counseling psych?
  5. I was notified of my waitlist status via a phone call the Saturday after the interview and I know someone else was too. I’d reach out to the program coordinator. Best of luck!
  6. One of my programs sent me an offer slightly 2 weeks after my interview, so don’t be alarmed if 2 weeks pass and you haven’t heard. Depends on program, but many have formal and informal meetings before initial offers can go out.
  7. Which program are you referring to? For counseling psych, interviews happened in early/mid January and admissions decisions came out this week
  8. Not sure whether folks asking about ASU are referring to Clinical PhD..if so, I don’t know. But, I did get an interview invite a week or so ago for Counseling PhD from PI directly. My portal still says “In Review”
  9. Hi, could anyone who applied to or interviewed with University of Minnesota counseling psych PhD program DM me? Thanks
  10. Would the poster who had an interview with PI: PF at the University of Minnesota Counseling Psychology let me know if they’ve heard back since the interview? Thanks!
  11. Hi! I recommend watching some Becoming Dr. Baker videos on youtube, specifically the ones with example interview questions for clinical and counseling psychology programs. Next, my research mentors and professors recommended learning everything you possibly can about the PI (which you likely did when writing statements, so refreshing your memory!). Re-read some current publications. Finally, be prepared to talk about your research experiences. My research mentor advised me to be able to give an abstract-level amount of detail.
  12. Got an interview invite from ASU yesterday. For counseling psych though.
  13. Haven’t heard back from their counseling psychology program either..hoping it’ll be soon!
  14. Hi! Interviews took place early last week as far as I know.
