Well....I have one more pending school. UCRiverside is the last school on my list. This admission cycle was soul crushing. Did UCRiverside send out acceptances already? Trying to see how to mentally prepare. ?

Genuinely bummed... Waiting now on UCI, UCRiverside, and UCBerkeley Rejected by USC, UPenn and UCSD. I think I might stand a chance at Riverside, but UCI and Berkeley seem unlikely with what I have been reading. Man this cycle has been brutal ? Has anyone had experience resubmitting applications before for a next cycle? I am trying to mentally prepare for that possibility. Will programs reconsider a previous year applicant---I am guessing you have to demonstrate that you did a variety of things to better yourself within that year as an applicant, I suppose?

For UCBerkeley, I applied to the demographics and sociology program For USC, UCI, and UCriverside, I applied to their Sociology programs. I had heard USC’s SOCs program actually hadn’t announced anything and that it would do so during this week. But that was based on someone who posted a while back so it could be wrong info etc. anyhoo, you’re right. My sis and all my mentors have told me that it ain’t over until end of March and even then you sometimes get emails from universities stating a spot opened up etc. fingers crossed. ?????

Does anyone know anything about UCI USC or UCBerkeley? im pretty sure UCriverside isn’t going to say much until later. but yeah those are the 4 schools I’m waiting for. I already got rejected by UCSD and PennState. I’m getting a bit numb officially by the rejections. anyone hurting out there, just know you’re not alone ??

So the stress of waiting has compelled me to create a gradcafe account lol. To be honest just looking for community because waiting is currently destroying my nerves. My hopes are a bit dismal as I see this site and rolling acceptance posts, but fingers are crossed. Currently waiting for rejections (or praying for an acceptance?) to these schools: UCI USC UCBerkeley UCSD Pennstate UCRiverside As someone already said already, just reject me already if that's the case lmao (or my favorite, just step on my neck already). Anyhoo for anyone out there just as anxious, wishing yall the best and hang in there!!! ?
