  1. I'm taking the intro to population epi course
  2. Is there a Facebook group or something for the Brock 2021-2022 class? Would love to get to know some of my (virtual classmates) before school starts
  3. My Brock offer letter says I have 3 weeks to respond if people who have been waitlisted are wondering when to potentially hear back
  4. Check your Brock portals everyone, mine says admitted!!!!
  5. I’m guessing decisions should be posted thursday at the latest? Friday and Sunday are holidays so doesn’t make sense for them to be working then
  6. Yep, I was informed that decisions will be posted “last week of March/first week of April at the latest” aka next week
  7. Good luck to everyone waiting on Brock, at least the wait will be over this coming week
  8. They said "no later than last week of March/first week of April" in an email I sent to them a while ago so I would imagine portals will be updated next week and not this week
  9. One year program was a must for me due to having other plans for the 2022-2023 school year so my choices were down to Brock & Western, and I had some doubts about being able to afford Western's program (especially bc I'd need to move to London so adding accommodations in) so Brock ended up being the only program that checked all the boxes for my situation Although I am looking into other similar one year programs at other schools just in case but I haven't found anything that's really caught my eye so far...fingers crossed for Brock tho
  10. Yup, that response I got was straight from the program coordinator who said decision will be then so it looks like we're gonna have to wait another 2 weeks at the maximum unfortunately....sucks because Brock is the only school I applied to so the wait is torturous
  11. If anyone is wondering about Brock, admissions are going out "end of March/first week of April at the latest"
  12. Does anyone know when Brock usually starts sending out acceptances?
  13. Thank you!! I only recently graduated in June of 2020 so some of my professional experience is still but fingers crossed both of us get some good news in the next few weeks! All the best
  14. Hi all, I'm new to these forums (and the application process in general) and I'm wondering how competitive some of these programs are? For reference, I only applied to Brock (I was looking for an online program with a practicum that's only one year to fit my future career plans and Brock was the only one that checked all the boxes) and I was wondering how my chances are? Academics wise, I graduated with a BSc in Kin (year 3/4 GPA of 3.81 & 3.97) Profession wise, I'm currently working for the Public Health Agency of Canada & have few years of combined experience working (admin) and volunteering in hospitals. I've also worked as a personal trainer for a few years + some other physiotherapy volunteering (my healthcare professional reference was from a physiotherapist) & community stuff but idk if this is really relevant to public health. Curious as to what everyone thinks, am I probably ok or should I also apply to another program as a backup just in case?
