    Exactly! That was my thought. I wanna be with my cohort to support each other. I think we are allowed to take other classes (although other times conflict with the 9-5 working schedule). But having to be in the building to take an online class is pointless. I will email one of the advisors and will explain this issue.

    No problem. I was able to put the classes on the shopping cart but we are not allowed to enroll until May 25th.

    Hi! I was in the pre-orientation today as well. And I tried to put my classes in the shopping cart too and found annoying that 2 classes on the same day are offered in different modalities and one is online and the other one is in person. It's very annoying, if I'm gonna be online I want to be home. But having 2 classes in a row, one being online and the other one being in-person is aggravating I think. I wanted to do Practice lab in person but I was looking forward to not have to commute one day of the week and being in person the other day. My dreamed schedule would be practice lab in person and HB & Social Welfare online. I will reach out to the advisers asking about the mix modalities on the same day back to back.

    Yes, it seems the OYR program is very small. Looking forward to seeing you all in person or in zoom. And I'll see you on the 29th for orientation ?

    No. I am on the OYR program. I was accepted on 02/23 I believe.

    Yes, that is what is going on. I already did that and they also told me I would receive a welcome package in April. I have also been activated to claim my CUNYFirst account. I did it and now waiting until they give the green light for enrollment.

    Hello Everyone! I see it's been awhile since somebody posted a message in this group! I wanted to ask if any of you that have already started classes at Hunter for the MSW program could give me some info in regards of the textbooks used in the first and second semesters? I want to start looking for them in advance (I was accepted for the Fall 2021 semester). I would like to know which textbooks are you using for Human Behavior I, II and III as well as Social Welfare policy and Social Work learning lab. I would be so helpful if anybody can advise. Thank you so much in advance! :::)))

    No. They give you a deadline. My deadline was until midnight of that day. My interview was at 3 pm. But they warn you: you can start the writing sample whenever you want after the interview. However, once you have started it, the clock starts ticking and you have 90 min to deliver it. I started the writing sample around 6:30 and was done a little before 8 pm.
