It's also depends on which program you applied for and the office. If the DAAD office in your country is big enough so they will handle the result letter themselves. Some countries that have a smaller DAAD office, the thing will be rely on Bonn office. As I said previously, the selection was already made and the delay was about final financial management which should be already settled. Some countries in Asia region already know their results (rejection) so we should know the results soon. Best of luck.

I just called my local DAAD office. So for Asia Pacific region is as follows. The ranking and selection was made already at the beginning February but the matter of time is just settling the financial down in each field of study. Usually, the person who got rejected will get rejection letter before the person who will get funding and I have heard some people from Asia region already got the rejection letter already so everybody will get the results very soon. The officer said is kinda good sign for whoever that doesn't get any news yet because the funding letter is announcing a bit later than rejection letter. By the way, for some countries the letter was made from Bonn but some was made from local office, but the results should be announced within the same period of time. The officer said that there is actually no step between application submitted to selection made and the process is probably done differently for each office. So he confirmed that the application status and end date didn't matter. I think that this information helps.

In summarization. Change in funding date may obviously results in funding but in some cases they have nothing changed but got funding as well. Some of the people who got the change for ending date get rejection. In my opinion, this circumstance may depend also on each DAAD local office and what is most important is the funding or rejection letter. Just don't panic for status or changing end date and I will try to not be anxiety as well. Finger crossed.

Yeah, my status is still application submitted and nothing changed as well as some of people are. But I just wanted to check if there is any case who got the funding and their scholarship ending date didn't change. Btw, changing thing in the portal sometimes doesn't mean anything. No, my funding end date isn't changed. There was first postponed that they said it's related to pandemic but this second postponed they didn't give a reason. Last year was also covid 19. Anyway, just stay calm and have a hope.

I just got an update from DAAD local office in Thailand that the results will be ready within a few weeks.

I asked them directly with the person in bonn end of February and the results should be within a few weeks. But now it's already late. So I don't know if I should ask them again.

Have you contacted DAAD person via the portal to check if there is any information?
