I've read on the Facebook group (DAAD scholarships), at least twice, about reserved candidates who got the scholarship in the end. I am aware that these are just two random experiences/cases, but there's definitely a possibility!

Just recieved an email to say that I had got a scholarship for Masters All Disciplines!! (New Zealand). Nothing's changed on the portal yet - just the email

I asked the information officer about timeline for rejection letter, she said the rejection letter will be announced earlier only the candidate do not meet the requirements which is obvious I guess but the rejection after selection made will be announced after the award letters which is unlike what her boss say last week that rejection letter will come out before award letter which match to the situation people are informing in this forum that rejection letter is announced 1 week or day or a few hours before award letter.
 
Huh, waiting is anxiety.

Not yet. Anxious.

Thailand and my status still application submitted

I think since last couple of weeks ago, our members don’t have any rejection. SO as @AP_sun mentioned before, it will be good signal. Let’s wait and do not throw hope away!

Indonesia, so I guess, final decision for other country in Asia Pacific region should not be far behind.

It will be a 2-months online intensive course, from August to September.

It's also depends on which program you applied for and the office. If the DAAD office in your country is big enough so they will handle the result letter themselves. Some countries that have a smaller DAAD office, the thing will be rely on Bonn office. As I said previously, the selection was already made and the delay was about final financial management which should be already settled. Some countries in Asia region already know their results (rejection) so we should know the results soon.

Keep the spirits alive guys, there is no rejection until we literally receive the negative response. Though the oblivious situation is troubling.

The ranking and selection was made already at the beginning February but the matter of time is just settling the financial down in each field of study.
 
Usually, the person who got rejected will get rejection letter before the person who will get funding and I have heard some people from Asia region already got the rejection letter already so everybody will get the results very soon. The officer said is kinda good sign for whoever that doesn't get any news yet because the funding letter is announcing a bit later than rejection letter.
 
By the way, for some countries the letter was made from Bonn but some was made from local office, but the results should be announced within the same period of time.
 
The officer said that there is actually no step between application submitted to selection made and the process is probably done differently for each office. So he confirmed that the application status and end date didn't matter.

In summarization.
Change in funding date may obviously results in funding but in some cases they have nothing changed but got funding as well. Some of the people who got the change for ending date get rejection.
In my opinion, this circumstance may depend also on each DAAD local office and what is most important is the funding or rejection letter.
Just don't panic for status or changing end date and I will try to not be anxiety as well.
