  1. We're gradually speeding up too ? I actually listened to a podcast with Dr Ciesnik (one of Germany's major epidemiologists) today, and she actually sounded quite optimistic that things would improve over summer, which was quite reassuring! But I guess you're right - we'll just have to wait and see what happens
  2. I imagine they'll probably be quite sympathetic, so long as the programme's length is within 24 months. Given that they have to be prepared to fund any of three different programmes, they must be prepared to have some flexibility. Yes, Covid is a worry for me too! Especially since the situation in Germany has escalated so much since we first applied. But then again, so much can change for the positive in a few months (look at the UK!), and vaccinations are really speeding up, so perhaps by October there may be improvement? I still wouldn't be surprised if the first semester's online though. I just really hope we get the chance to be vaccinated before we go: I'd feel so much safer!
  3. I didn't even think to check there! The universities I'm applying to are in Berlin, Cologne and Potsdam, in that order ? What about you?
  4. Congrats to you too!!! There's a number you can find in the main table with your status, etc, and in the heading for your messages. I just put this, even though it doesn't start with 9, as I couldn't see any other numbers on the page. She didn't correct me, so I assume I got the right one!
  5. Just recieved an email to say that I had got a scholarship for Masters All Disciplines!! (New Zealand). Nothing's changed on the portal yet - just the email
  6. From NZ, not Australia, but I imagine we'll be finding out at similar times, seeing as we're from the same region. I haven't received any news so far, but I did get a message from the Daad last Thursday, which mentioned that results should hopefully be out within the next couple of weeks. Given how delayed everything's been, I kind of doubt we'll hear anything this week, but fingers crossed that we'll hear something next week
  7. I asked about results last week and was told they would "hopefully" be released within 2-3 weeks. The woman writing was really apologetic: I suspect they've faced quite a few hurdles in the process this year. I would be pleasantly surprised if we hear anything before late March at the earliest, unfortunately . The waiting's driving me nuts too!
  8. Also from NZ! I received a letter from DAAD soon after the deadline, saying there would be a meeting in Jan and that we would get our results approximately 3 weeks after. So hopefully we should hear back by the end of Feb. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a bit longer though, given the lockdown in Germany ? My status hasn't seen any changes: I've been at paper copies received since October.
