Hi! I just saw you quoted my other post too! I got into the MPP program with the Ford school this past Thursday, but sent my MSW app right before the March 1st deadline so I likely won’t hear back for a little bit. I’d absolutely love to talk more about why you’re set on UW over Michigan! UW has been my top choice this whole time, but there are a lot of things I like about Michigan so I’d love to chat! Idk if this site has a direct message service, but if not, I’m happy to email

Hi all! I’m wicked excited to say I was just accepted to the full time day program! UW is my top choice, but obviously as an out of state resident, I have to really consider the financial burdens and would love to know if anyone was awarded individual merit scholarships in their admissions email, or if all financial aid is sent later on with the FAFSA information.

Hi! I was accepted into the Evans School last week (Feb. 26). Not sure if you've heard back yet but good luck! I happened to log onto the portal and saw it two hours before they actually sent the email. Still waiting to hear from UMich's Ford school for their MPP and their school of social work's MSW, and UW's MSW. Was accepted into UPenn's MSW but didn't apply for the policy side there. I'm hoping to do a concurrent/dual degree at either UW or UM and would love to stay updated on those schools if anyone else hears anything.

Hey! I’m the one from the general MSW thread. Just want to comment on this one so I can keep up with it too in case anyone else hears anything. Like I said on that thread, I was accepted into UW’s Evans School’s MPA program, but I applied hoping to do a concurrent degree with the MSW, so I’m genuinely on the edge of my seat waiting to hear if I was accepted or not. I applied for the Day program too, so hopefully we hear something back soon!

Has anyone received a decision from University of Washington (UW) yet? I know last year they sent most on Fridays starting in the middle of February, but I haven’t seen anything about it this year. I applied to the MSW and the MPA and I heard back from the MPA last week, but nothing from the MSW yet.

Hey! I just posted and started scrolling through and saw this. I applied a just before the deadline as well and was never contacted for an interview but received an acceptance last night and am very confused. Would love be to updated if something similar happened to your friend.

Hello All, I was just accepted to UPenn last night, which was very exciting, but it felt very out of the blue as I was never contacted for an interview and everything I’ve read says an interview is required for the program. Has anyone else been accepted sans interview? Or was this a mistake that I should reach out about? Thanks for the help!
