Anyone with information on how much UNC normally gives in scholarships and/or grants?

I saw that you got a big scholarship to UChicago. Where are you thinking of ultimately going?

Hmmm. I'm not sure then. Could be good or bad news. Bad news would be they never considered your application complete so you're not on their email list. Or good news that maybe they plan on sending you an acceptance so they don't have you on the list of remaining applicants.

What program did you apply to? Maybe that email was sent out only to the Full-Time 2-year applicants.

Yes, in the previous threads from 2020-2017, it appears to be the case that acceptances are mostly sent out in February. If you go read those threads, you'll see a ton of people saying they received an acceptance in February. There are a couple of acceptances that come in early March, but they are very infrequent. This leads me to believe those come from February people declining their acceptance. Then there's sometimes a waitlist that comes for just a couple of people right after everyone else is rejected in mid-March that appears to have spots left from anyone else that declines that can go up until April, probably coming from people that were offered an acceptance in March that then declined or anyone from February changing their mind last minute.

They are likely only sending out acceptances in place of those that decline an admissions offer at this time. As far as I know, they have not sent out any updates to applicants or a suggested timeline where they expect to be finished with the process except "March." In the past, they have sent out a generic rejection email to all candidates at the same time who did not hear back by mid march.

Are you leaning towards UNC or Seattle U?
