Hey guys! Just wanted to share I was accepted to Columbia tonight! I applied on February 7th. I'm already close to comitting to UNC Chapel Hill which is tied with Columbia as the #3 best MSW program in the country. I am also from North Carolina so it would be WAY more affordable than Columbia. Unless they send me a great financial package, I'm going to decline their acceptance. Sucks I do not come from a rich family to afford the ivy lifestyle. Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear back! Also, don't forget- everything happens for a reason, and trust within the process. success is coming your way :)

Hi everyone! I heard back an hour ago through email from Sharon Thomas that I was accepted into the 3-year program!!! I am so excited OMG. I have just been sitting on my desk in shock.

I received an email this morning that I didn’t get into the 2-year program but they offered me an interview for their 3-year program! I have my interview soon so if anyone else has a similar situation, any advice will help!

Hi everyone, never too early to start the discussion! I'm interested in msw programs with a clinical focus so that I can get my lcsw and practice in mental health therapy. I am an undergraduate rising senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. I have grown up in North Carolina my entire life and wish to go to grad school up north! Still narrowing my top choices but am strongly considering Rutger's University of New Brunswick, Columbia University, NYU, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
