Anyone know whats up with schools doing this? Screenshot below of an email from Pratt, that says they are accepting applications through April 15 ...... I'm assuming this year was really big for applications so curious as to why schools would do this.

Just got into the Royal College of Art Contemporary Art Practice program, which seems really cool, but unfortunately has what looks like zero financial aid to offer. Anyone know anything about this program or heard anything? It's basically 80k total which seems way beyond what I want to take out loans for, especially because I have a funded/stipended offer in the US. That said it feels like the perennial question of funding vs notoriety .....

Does anyone know if there is a date when schools are sending out final decisions by? I haven't heard anything from VCU (Sculpture), and am assuming I was rejected, but also kinda of wondering if I submitted my application correctly because I can't find any email from them at all...

Greetings! First time posting but I have found this forum really helpful and wanted to share where I'm at and ask an advice question.... currently: Rejected: yale, cmu, risd (after interview), vcu (? haven't heard anything so assuming rejection) Accepted: SUNY New Paltz, Umass Amherst (fully funded), Tyler (funding tbd) Interviewing with Goldsmiths in two hours, and haven't heard a peep from the RCA. I feel like my decision will likely come down between UMass and Tyler... I have talked with professors and students from both programs but still feel like I want to do more research in terms of student experience and where people go after graduation (teaching prospects, etc). How are others weighing decisions between funded and less funded options? * Just a last note that It's tough out there! And institutional rejection has no bearing on your worth as an artist or being! Great job everyone for just being in the thick of it *
