congrats on your acceptance!!! glad to hear you've got some good news after some not so great news do you mind sharing your stats?
-
yes! i think it's probably because of the weekly maintenance on thursdays from 6-10pm on mosaic
-
would also love to connect!
-
Hey it shows up for me like that too on mosaic! I'm not sure if we actually need to submit it??
-
hey everyone! wondering if anyone knows if accepting an offer from another program at Mac will affect consideration in the Global Health program?
-
i also haven't heard anything!
-
that sounds like a great plan! which is your top choice? (congrats on getting into mac btw!) i'm still waiting on uoft health promo and also mac global health, but global health doesn't send out acceptances until may so that's a lost cause for now lol
-
I felt that 100%, so glad I'm not the only one! which program/s are you waiting on?
-
thank you so much for sharing! that's very helpful, i'm glad they're good about people withdrawing later on
-
Gotcha, guess like you said the worse that can happen is they say no haha. but I'm glad they were nice about it!
-
you're right i guess we can only ever do what we think is right, but knowing that accepting and then declining later is a pretty normal thing makes me feel better about the prospect of potentially having to do that. thank you for your help!!
-
thanks for your perspective! congrats on your acceptance and i hope things work out for you and you're able to attend the program you've accepted! did you say exactly how long an extension you wanted when you asked the school?
-
thank you! and thank you for your response, I really appreciate your perspective! from what i'm understanding, you would say accepting Mac without asking for an extension and then potentially declining later would be the best way to go about it?
-
yes!

wondering if anyone has had experience asking McMaster (or other universities) for an extension for accepting/declining their offer? and if so, how does one go about doing that? i'm still waiting on UofT but the deadline to accept McMaster is the end of this week
-
that's awesome! thanks for sharing your experience, it's so great to hear that you had a nice chat with the admin person!
-
congrats on being the waitlist for waterloo! i'm new to the whole grad application process (and i'm also waiting to hear back from a uni so i can accept/decline another offer) and am wondering how exactly you asked the admin for your status? i don't know what the most polite way to do it is! any tips are appreciated

I also haven't seen anything change on my mosaic despite getting an unofficial letter last Wednesday! Getting nervous as I'm seeing someone say the deadline to accept is March 29 but I'm still waiting to hear back from other programs.
