random question- just accepted my offer to Carleton for the 2 year MSW program, is there a way to eventually withdrawal the application if I get accepted to UofT? it didn't prompt me to pay a deposit or anything which seemed strange to me?

just got accepted to Carleton!!! I am waiting on UofT still but I think I plan to accept my offer in the case that I get waitlisted at uoft. I’m based in Toronto currently so it’s a ways of a move but hoping for the best

same here! really hard to tell what 'order' they're doing it in.. aka rejections/wait list first it seems but very staggered?

same! totally resonate with this, I feel like I don't see a TON of people that have applied or spoken about this program? at least I haven't seen many on the forum from this year or last year..

UofT is an email to reiterate, I never got anything in the mail when I was waitlisted but I did get a 'letter' in an email if that makes sense and the online application portal changes to 'decision made' then you click on that and it downloads a letter of your decision to your electronic device.

not yet I think last year they did acceptances early-mid march.. it does say on their website that they plan to have it finalized by April.

Yeah when I got waitlisted last year they sent me an email to check the portal that said decision made

ugh I feel you.. I think it's because they have over 1400 applicants with only 140 spots, must take time to go through all those applications. The waiting for UofT sucks

hoping in the next few days we see some movement from Carleton.. my application has changed to 'review in progress by department' as of monday evening.. also congrats to those who got their acceptances to other programs today sending positive vibes everyones way.

I know it's only Monday BUT has anyone seen any change in status for Carleton 2 year? I haven't yet.. we are getting so close now to hearing back. By this Wednesday last year people got accepted.

I didn't apply to dal but I have heard that their acceptances go out around feb 15-17 (so next week)

UBCO is based on when you apply (people who submit their application earlier hear earlier), but from what i've seen from last year they release acceptances march 3?

March-April for UofT (was a previous applicant last year). However I got waitlisted April 6 last year, so I assume they do acceptances before.

just got an email from UBC-O that my application is under review for the 2 year foundational program. Fingers crossed!

mine has said recommended for assessment for a while now too (I applied to the two year) it will change to 'in review by postdoctoral department' etc etc when they are actually reviewing it. It seems that based on previous years after you see this it is about a 3-4 day turn around for acceptances, so I have my hopes on feb 17 they will release.
