Hello! I got off the Western SLP waitlist this morning at 11:00 am. I was in the first quadrant. This was my 4th cycle applying to UWO SLP, I was waitlisted twice (2020 and 2021) and rejected once (2022) before getting in this cycle! I accepted the offer! Best of luck to everyone else on the waitlist; be kind to yourself during the process 🤍!

How many people who got accepted to Western are planning on not accepting? LOL I want to get an idea of how many spots will open up for waitlist.

Hi all!
This is my second time applying! I applied this past cycle and was waitlisted at Western.
My GPA is on the lower end (3.63/4) but thankfully I started working as an SLPA earlier this year when I graduated from undergrad. I'm hoping this experience will help me this time around
Feeling super nervous, does anyone who is in the program have advice for writing the statements for UofT and Western? Any advice will help:) thanks and good luck to everyone this round!

Hi everyone, I'm a current first-year SLP student at Western. It was mentioned today by one of our professors that they had their final meeting this morning to make decisions about acceptances, so you should be hearing shortly I know how stressful the waiting is, hang in there!

Check your inbox everybody (spam inbox too)!!
McMaster has selected people for the interview portion. I was invited to participate in an interview and I am actually quite shocked. I originally had no hopes for getting into McMaster at all so I debated for a long time to even apply to McMaster. But I am glad I did! BTW, my calculated GPA cannot really be considered competitive in McMaster standards. Like a lot of us have been predicting in this forum before, I think the applicant amount is down this year.
Nonetheless, this has really affected my mental health in a positive way. Especially since the New Year has been really tough on me. I hope to hear further good news from my other choices! And I hope all helpful people here also receive good news!
