    Question:
Did anyone get professional help on crafting their application(s)?
Did everyone just workshop applications with social networks, or did anyone use something different?
I know there are organizations that help you construct and polish applications for other competitive academic programs, but I know nothing about any related to social work.
If you have any resources to share please respond to this post &/or private message me!

I mostly spoke to past students who have gotten in.  For my resume and personal statement, I used the YorkU writing centre to polish my work and get feedback

does anybody have any idea how the waitlist works and what happens after ? What are chances of getting an offer ?

I'm not 100% sure but I have 3 weeks to accept my offer.  I'm guessing after that they would roll out acceptances again (or send you another update email).

Also waiting with bated breath to hear from OISE MEd, Counselling & Psychotherapy stream! I didn't interview though, so I am assuming it's going to be a rejection (second try, arhggg ?). Does anyone know for certain if they do interview for the MEd? I thought they did but reading this forum, it seems like they might only do that for the Clinical route?

There is no interview for the MEd Counselling and Psychotherapy stream :) So don't give up as yet!

Yes, thanks! I’ve heard of that too but I wonder what the reputation on these private schools are? I know they are accredited by CRPO but I wonder how they may look for hiring managers.

I've heard really good things about Adler and quite a few people who I know studying there mentioned it is good.  Regarding hiring and how it looks on your resume, sure UofT has a big reputation and it is ideal, but I think it all boils down to your networking and connections you make when you're in grad school.

Asked about a refund, received this:

    "You will not be refunded.

    , received this:

"You will not be refunded. As I mentioned, before the decision was made not to take applicants, applicants were shortlisted and you did not make the shortlist.

    Thanks,

I wonder if this could be taken up with the ministry of education or something?

This is absolutely not fair.  If they were planning to take applicants for 2023 then that should have been mentioned before people applied.

Questions about U of T updated transcripts.:
Has anyone else mailed an updated transcript to U of T? Is there a way to email them or attach it to Acorn? Not knowing if they'll receive my updated transcript in time is making me so anxious! If they get my update.. I have a really good chance of getting in... but if they don't I will most certainly get rejected.

You might want to contact admission or Angela on this.  I don't think they need mailed in transcripts until you get accepted, and so for updates made maybe contact and see that they say
