Hey @Blacksheep I also applied for the Hybrid program! It is possible that you will still get in to either the 2 year or 3 year On-Campus program! They emailed me and asked if I would be interested in the on-campus program. I will be praying for you my friend. ❣️ I am sure you put a lot of effort into your application.

Hey @Blacksheep My GPA is 3.4 with a degree in Justice Studies and minor in Philosophy graduated from SJSU. I have direct experience at my job for over 2 years. I work at a mental health office as an Admin. Which program did you apply for? I know that they are still sending out approval letters so try not to lose hope. I will be praying for you!

Hey all! I heard back from San Jose State University last Wednesday! They stated that the Hybrid program is full, however they offered me a spot in the 2 year on-campus program, so I accepted!! ☺️ Anyone else possibly going to be in the same cohort? Hope all is well with everyone on this forum!

Good luck @FutureTherapistHopefull! All I got was the sjsu email that got sent out a few weeks ago stating they are making their decisions until may 31. ? hoping it comes within the next month. I submitted my 2 apps mid November so I feel like I have been waiting forever ?

Hey All! I applied to CSUMB and SJSU and I have been checking my portals/email every single day. I am so nervous because I only applied to these two schools and am worried that there is a possibility of not getting in! I also do not have a social work education background, I got my bachelor's degree in Justice Studies! I have worked at a Mental Health Office since July of 2020 so I am hoping that my experience as an Admin/Programs assistant will benefit me and my application. I got an email from SJSU about making decisions up until May 31. I also received from CSUMB they will begin sending out decisions Mid-April! Ugh the suspension is killing me! Good luck to all!!! ☺️

For anyone applying to CSUMB, I got an email today stating that they will send admission decisions out Mid-April!!! Fingers Crossed. I know SJSU takes a little longer to send them out so anywhere from May-July.

Hello! I am also applying for Fall 2022. I live in San Jose, California. The schools I applied to are: Simmons University, San Jose State University and California State University of Monterey Bay. So far I have been accepted into Simmons University, however I am waiting for the decisions from both SJSU and CSUMB MSW programs! I have a 3.5 GPA and work experience in the field of social work. Really hoping to get into either SJSU or CSUMB MSW programs!

Hello All! I live in California and work at a mental health office as an Admin and decided I wanted to get my MSW after receiving my bachelors in Justice Studies in may 2021. I applied to San Jose State University, CSU Monterey Bay and Simmons University for Fall 2022. I got accepted into Simmons In early November. Anyone else who also applied to SJSU and CSUMB and are now playing the waiting game? I definitely want to try and wait for the decisions from both schools. Happy to have found this thread and I am hopeful it will put me at ease while I wait!
