    Boston and NYC cost of living is pretty comparable honestly, but in NYC you will have much more access to a broader art community!

    In this particular case the person whose contact was provided is currently on leave and I don’t know whether it is totally inappropriate to email the professors who interviewed me directly

    I feel the exact same way - not sure if it is initiative or showing interest in the program or being annoying! I have been trying to decide whether to email all week. I am waiting to hear back from cranbrook and university of Arkansas after interviews in February for painting. I know cranbrook won’t release decisions until later in the month but I was expecting to hear from UArk by now. If anyone has heard from them let me know!

    I’ve heard some of you say you have emailed inquiries about when admissions decisions will be released to schools that you haven’t heard from. Are you emailing the admissions office or the department directly? I am waiting to hear from one school that I interviewed with in early February that said I would have a decision by the end of the month but I haven’t heard anything. What would you do?

    I interviewed for painting and they said something like “by the end of March”

    If you don’t mind sharing, which program is it? a lot of the fully funded programs accept only 1 or 2 people so at the end of the day it comes down to so many factors that are out of your control! I hope you get off the waitlist though and have a great interview Sunday.
