  1. Accepted to UNLV for fiction Never received a waitlist email, either.
  2. I’m not sure when you last reached out to them, but I think today would be a good day to message the director. Maybe ask if there’s a decent chance of you getting accepted off the waitlist or if you should move on? I like to think most programs would be straight forward so late in the game.
  3. It’s possible they admitted more people than they were supposed to, and that’s why there’s been no waitlist movement yet. But hopefully you guys hear back soon!
  4. What genre are you? I haven’t heard a ton of news but I know someone who got accepted for poetry was debating between Minnesota and another program. It sounded like they might choose the other program, but I’m not 100% sure.
  5. Hi, everyone. I kinda need some advice. My friend has the number one waitlist spot at this one program, and she knows for a fact that someone declined their spot there for the same genre. It’s been over two weeks since that person declined, and my friend emailed the director asking if there’s been any movement. They said no. She is very confused and concerned. Is this a normal thing with these programs? Are they going to wait until April 15th to accept her? Thank you. Hope you all are doing well.
  6. Hi! I’d love to take a look at your piece for you.
  7. Officially declined my UNCG offer for fiction. Hope this helps someone!
  8. I’m not sure what the accepted applicants for fiction are doing but I do know someone on draft removed herself from the waitlist about a week ago. Hopefully this helps you!
  9. Accepted to UNCG for fiction! I will be declining my offer though cause I am going to OSU. Hope this helps someone!
  10. Yes I’ve heard that too! Not sure how Miami handles their waitlists, though. They just told me it’s “very short.”
  11. I’m pretty sure I got the exact same email lol I’m for fiction, too. With waitlists, if someone who was offered a spot declines it, the person with the number one waitlist spot gets in. You can ask Miami how high on the waitlist you are, what number you are, etc but a lot of programs won’t share this information. I’ve been considering my options lately, and I think I’m going to commit to OSU when I get home from work today. So that’ll be one less person you have to worry about lol Good luck!
  12. It’s hard to give an actual number because I’m sure there’s plenty of people who got in that are not on draft or gradcafe. I know there was a good few people who got in though. There’s about four acceptances on draft and a few waitlists on there too.
