  1. Got off the waitlist at UVA! South Asian religions.
  2. Got accepted to UChicago's MA in Religion in the Divinity School. Full tuition scholarship and $20k/year living stipend!
  3. Has anyone heard anything more about Notre Dame's HPS? I have a friend applying who hasn't heard anything back, but I know there's been some rejections already.
  4. Undergrad here. Heard today that they're releasing soon.
  5. Let me know how it goes! UVA is my top choice. I am applying for the South Asian Religions subfield. I'm so anxious, and as a BA applicant I'm anticipating a rejection. It's going to sting because I've been in contact with my main POI for like two years now, and another POI even told me that although most PhD admits come out of MA programs it looked like it "might" not be necessary for me. They've made the mistake of getting my hopes up, I fear.
  6. Has anyone applied to UoT's Direct Entry??? Last year acceptances went out on Feb 5. I'm gonna puke
  7. Hi all, wanting some information about UT's philosophy PhD. I applied for the direct entry, and getting nervous since last year's acceptances look like they were mostly sent out early Feb. I'm looking to do the history of philosophy in South Asia, specifically Hindu-Muslim philosophical exchange/debate/appropriation. I personally think I have about as good of an application as I could have managed to produce over the past four years (which is not to say perfect, but I've worked my ass off), but obviously this does not guarantee anything. I am an American, and was wondering if anyone knows whether that will have an effect on my application. A trusted professor here told me that he thinks they basically are going to take one American, but I'd like to here from others before I give him any credence. Also, general discussion thread!
