I was able to negotiate from 20k to 42k funding for WashU St. Louis in 2023. You would need to email the Graduate Coordinator after you received the acceptance email + financial offer from them. From my experience with WashU, they were pretty transparent about what they could do (no fully funded available at the time of negotiation, but they wanted to know how much I'd need in order to commit to the program). Then, I received the update email from the Department chair about the result. Anyway, good luck to everyone who's been waiting for the results! May the odds be ever in our favor ❤️

I had an interview with UT Austin (Print) earlier this month, still waiting on the result, which they told me will be later Feb.

A departmental email sending to schedule your preferred time/date for Zoom meeting. 30 min interview with the faculty (but it doesnt mention who all would be there).

Hi everyone. Second time apply, (after 3 years since first time; WashU in St. Louis accepted but I declined due to family reason). I'm applying to UT Austin, UC Davis, SUNY Buffalo, and UConn. Happy to be here with us art folks!

I know omg i did not expect it to be that way. One of them asked ‘when you were informed about the interview last night, what is the thing you feel like you have to tell us?‘ this really made me think they intentionally wanted us to feel shook. Anw, this is my first time applying so I’m learning from this.
