Hi All! It has been a long time since I've been in an academic institution, and on top of that, social work is a career shift for me so I am very green to the industry. I'm trying to make some final decisions between UNC and UT, and I love the UNC's reputation and it's options but I like the UT program better (pretty sure Rutgers is out :/) but for the $16k extra in loans a year, is UNC worth it? I'd like to eventually go into private practice and work in human sexuality as a therapist. Any thoughts to help me make this tough decision?? Sending love to all the other MSW peeps!

Hey all! Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm currently trying to decide between the Clinical MSW programs at UNC or UT Austin. Does anyone have any thoughts on these programs to help me decide? I want to eventually work in therapy and human sexuality and plan on going back to school at some point. I have been out of academia for a while and am so torn between the two!!!!

Anyone hear back from UT Austin's MSW?

I just got a notification that I got into Rutgers Fall 2023! It is a shockingly quick response since the deadline was last week. I don't have much social work experience so I am so excited and honored!
