  1. Congrats! Which stream specifically?
  2. The 4.33 scale is only a disadvantage if your original school was on a 4.0 scale and is being converted to the 4.33 scale. If you're going from 4.33 to a 4.0 scale, it tends to benefit you. I go to UNBC right now, so all As and A+ grades are considered a 4.0 versus a 4.0 and 4.33, so your GPA is "boosted" compared to the 4.33 scale.
  3. You should be getting in. They just take time to process letters.
  4. I have no idea honestly. I've only seen two including myself on these forums.
  5. Took approximately a week, but I received an official offer today from U of A for MSc Epidemiology. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!
  6. Yes, I'm still waiting for mine and it's been a week. The School of Public Health said it might take up to three weeks. Congrats again though!!! So happy for you
  7. Congrats! Did you get your official offer letter through GSMS or the unofficial one from the School of Public Health?
  8. Hello, yes reach out to professors if none have reached out to you. They don't accept you unless a supervisor has agreed to take you on. I had a couple approach me a fee weeks back but that's not everyone's experience. and thank you! I wish you the best of luck. (I'm also a domestic applicant if that changes anything)
  9. I really wonder how many MSc applicants there were then...
  10. Do you happen to know if the 700 applicants includes those looking to get into the MSc programs?
  11. Hi everyone! Got an unofficial acceptance this morning for the MSc Epidemiology (application is being forwarded to FGSR). This is after I contacted them and asked about when admission offers would be going out. They originally told me "in the coming weeks" so don't give up hope!!
  12. Email the professor you'd like to work with. Ask them if they are still interested in working with you if you are accepted. See what they say. You have to have a confirmed supervisor before you are accepted.
