  1. Is anyone going into a PhD program with a master's? If so-how many (if any) of your credits are they offering to transfer?
  2. I am in the UCF program now and I love it. All the prof's have been great so far and the director is very helpful and concerned for her students. I will admit at times it's a lot of work, but you will definitely have a life. As far as admissions advice, I would probably try to take the GRE again. I'm not sure what the average is but from experience the second time around is much less stressful and people often score higher. Also, when you do your personal statement make sure you are very clear about why you left and I/O, and more importantly, why you know you want to be back in it. Message me if you have any questions and good luck!
  3. I just got my acceptance letter from George Mason about a week ago. This is one of my dream schools in an awesome city, but they offer zero funding. The admissions coordinator did say that nearly everyone who wants it can get an internship, but I doubt that would pay that well or cover tuition. Do you think it's worth going significantly far into student loan debt just to go to a good school?
  4. Thanks! No info on funding yet, the email just said "We are still in the process of finalizing financial support information". Yep I am definitely going on April 1st!
  5. Congratulations! I just got.my UCF acceptance this afternoon! I'm so excited, what a huge weight off my shoulders! I am still waiting to hear back from the other six schools, NOTHING yet. I find this weird because the results section of gradcafe has acceptances AND rejections listed for some of the schools I applied to. I know they received my application because I got confirmations, so why nothing?? Confusing....
  6. Are you referring to the PhD program or the master's? In what form is everyone getting their letters? Is it mostly email notifications?
  7. How did USF notify you, was it via email or snail mail?
