  1. Has anyone heard from BU’s DrPH program? I saw that the results page has 2 people that were Waitlisted. I’m beginning to think its another “L” (rejection) to add to my collection
  2. I’m sorry to hear that, but don’t lose hope. I haven’t received anything yet.
  3. Im also waiting on BU. Interviewed with them mid-January. Fingers crossed for us!
  4. I’m sorry to hear that @BZG. Do you mind sharing when you applied to GSU? if it makes a difference - it seems like some(most) successful applicants were accepted after their 2nd or 3rd app cycle. I know it’s not optimal, but there’s some motivation and hope for next year.
  5. Add me toooo! Only waiting to hear back from BU and Southern Georgia, now. But rejected from Harvard, UC-Berkeley, Tulane, and Texas A&M. TAMU, btw was the most odd. The DrPH chair reached out to me mid-Jan to ask me about research interests - they aligned with hers, so I thought I had it in the bag. The response was that they could NOT take me under their advisorship - another professor I chose QUIT & the other that was available would reach out to me. The professor never reached out to me and I got a rejection 3 days after I emailed them. I feel like I dodged a bullet with that program, tbh. This rejection (Tulane) was a hard pill to swallow for me - but in the same time that I applied to grad school, I also applied to other jobs and now I’m waiting to onboard (starting in a 2-4 weeks) with a Public Health org that is bumping my current salary by 50% - this is “life changing” for me. I know money shouldn’t be the motive, but at this salary and with the impact that I’ll be able to make now, grad school (DrPH or PhD) seems unreasonable for me to pursue, now. Keep your head up, everyone - when one door closes, another one opens. And sometimes that door has 30 to choose from once you cross it. I wish everyone much success in everything. Best of luck 🤞🏻
  6. I got a rejection email today at 6pm from UC Berkeley’s DrPH program. This one hurt a little :’)
  7. I applied and haven’t heard back. Their website says it could be mid-March when you hear back or mid-April if someone doesn’t enroll after being accepted and your application moves up in their queue. *sighs*
  8. Anyone who interviewed with Boston University for their DrPH program - can you shoot me a message? I want to ask about something they sent 😅
  9. Nothing yet. I applied but I did not interview with Harvard’s DrPH. Checking the portal daily. I also have not heard back from BU’s DrPH program. I interviewed with them at the end of January.
  10. I applied just because I had my files ready and the SOP they required was relatively shorter than the others I had to write. I also want to keep an online option in case my living situation changes between now and Fall.
  11. Thank you so much! I received the invite for interview via email. I do not believe they have an applicant portal. This is for their DrPH program, btw.
  12. Applied to UC-Berkeley, Harvard, and Boston U. Invited to interview with BU later this month. I know it’s not an acceptance but I did cry a little when I saw my email earlier today :’)
