Interesting! Did you hear directly from NSERC or from your uni? If it is not based on Vanier the rollout seems almost random?

For those who have heard. Did you also apply to Vanier or are these straight CGS-D applications?

I don't think there is a difference. They were all merging to be the same following the new budget and update. Both are 40,000 over 3 years now.

Really hoping they didn't roll out all the winners first. Haven't heard from NSERC or my university yet.

Are people hearing from their institutions or from NSERC directly?

My university keeps saying they are releasing the results on April 21. Not sure if this is true or not but it definitely adds to the anxiety.

Does anyone know the difference between being put on the waitlist and being flat out rejected? Do the rejection letters differ? I don’t think I was put on the wait list but I just wanted to make sure it to see if it was worth checking periodically or not.
