I added internet onto my cell so I can check my personal email @ work. I check like every 10 minutes. I can access my school email from work, so I just leave it on the screen. If I'm not home by the time the mail comes, I call my 'rents to see if anything came. I can't even sleep well lately because I'm dying for something to come. I had a dream a few nights ago about being rejected from a school that I didn't apply to (?) but then I had a dream I was accepted to my top choice, but then someone called my cell phone and it woke me up. Grrr.

I work at a bank as a retail banker... It's pretty mindless and scripted but its easy peasy and I have my own little office and coffee machine.

I graduated in December, so I'm hanging out working part time til August. I can't wait to go back to school! ha.

When I applied for undergrad I got a letter the July before classes started (uhhh) and the letter said "At this time we are unable to accept you, We hope that you've chosen a different college to attend for the fall." Haha

Although I haven't heard anything yet, I would love an email first. It would suck if it were a rejection notice.. especially if I find out when I'm at work. I'll be sad. LOL.

I'm probably going to have little to no funding. I'm alright with that -- for my undergrad I have such little debt that I can afford it (I hope), plus I figure when I get out my salary will be alright. If I have to live with my rents for a year or two after I guess I'll suck it up.

I pretty much obsess over my email from 9A-6P, checking my phone to see if I've been called for an interview, and checking my home mail for news. I also lurk the results forum to see if anything populates. I should hear back within the next few days for one school (AHHH!) but not until next month for most schools. I don't want to wait anymore! hah. I've also put on my calendar the days to expect responses/interviews. I feel like a nut. I can't wait until Apr 15 so I can stop feeling this way! haha.

WOW! I thought I spent a lot. I applied to 7 schools: App fees - 335 $ Transcripts - 105 $ GRE - 160 $ Sending Gre -60 $ Mailing Stuff/Fees - ~20 Online portfolio - 19 Total $699. Oh god. Oh, and if I have to go to interviews that's gas +hotel +food. Still haven't heard anything though, gahh!

One school I applied to was very strict in saying that they do NOT want any calls about this kind of thing. They sent out an email with an internal timeline. However, the schools where I couldn't find the info on the site I sent a nice email. Every school was very kind in their response.

Payday (Thursday).. Oh, and yoga class later I suppose.

I called them to see when they're reviewing. Each school seems to have a different period and internal timeline.. Call/Email your program director to ask...

Email definitely.. I've been checking like a fool waiting for anything. I saw a few emails today from schools today and freaked out. Turns out they were just missing things.. sigh.

Hello SLP applicants, What schools are you applying to? What school do you want to go to? Any exciting news or frustrations along the way? I applied to SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Plattsburgh, U South Dakota, Nazareth, Syracuse, and St. Rose. Truthfully, I like all of the programs.. but I think my top choices are Naz, Syracuse, and St. Rose. I can't WAIIIT to hear back, I'm dying. I just got a bunch of emails for missing items (ahh!) but I think I have everything resolved. All of my deadlines are Tues, and I think I'm ready. I'm super nervous for interviews though! Good luck all.. Can't wait to see people posting their acceptance notices!
