Hi, does anyone have any advice or experience with writing an appeal to receive more financial aid from schools? I’m planning to send appeals to the financial aid offices, but I was also considering informally reaching out to the professors or program directors I’ve been in contact with since interviewing. I figured they might have some sway, since they have a more personal relationship with me and may want me in the program, rather than my appeal only going through the financial aid office. Has anyone done this before? What were the results? I’m not sure if it’s appropriate, but since they’ve asked if I have any questions or concerns that might prevent me from accepting the offer, I’m thinking this might be the right time to bring it up.

what medium did you apply for? I heard official acceptances are coming in Friday but not sure if that's true

Been seeing different reports on RISD. Has anyone who has interviewed for RISD photo heard anything back? I also saw something back two interviews. Is that the norm? If I only interviewed once is it over for me?

Did anyone in SAIC photo hear back about the scholarship package? I was told a few weeks ago I was accepted through a professor I interviewed with and just got the official acceptance email today. I have a friend in another medium there who already was offered a full ride. Also still waiting for my official offer from Columbia. I was also informally accepted already but am waiting for the offer. Still waiting on a response from RISD. The interview was at the beginning of the month. Not sure if they have sent out decisions already or if they're waiting till March.

I have interviewed with temple and risd. have upcoming interviews with saic and rutgers. didn't get invited to interview with yale. still waiting to hear back from cmu and columbia
