Their admissions are rolling, so I think you can still apply. However, I don't know what the odds of financial aid would be because the priority deadline was Feb. 1st.

It is updated indeed. I got irrationally excited because their envelope says "CUA" on it...and the way it was folded I thought it said UCLA...

Just got a package from Catholic University in DC. I'm IN! Financial Aid info to follow. Phew...I can now breath a little easier. It was good to know I got into my safety school

Nope. I would imagine there will be a week or two before the majority of programs start getting back to us.

things not to say.... "huh? really? I got in no problem." "Oh, I wish you had told me you were applying there, my cousin is the dean..." "There's always your safety school Crap U out in butt-****, Idaho to look forward to" "Why didn't you apply to the University of Phoenix?" I just got rejected from my dream school today, so my heart goes out to everyone who gets/got rejected from their dream school.

There are typically 3 waves of "acceptances" from what I've come to understand from my professors who have sat on admissions committees The first is for people who they love. They send out acceptances to their top choices (who I'm sure are also the people who are getting into the top programs). When they get acceptances/rejections from those people, the committee then sees how many spots are left (sometime in early/mid March probably) and sends out a second wave of acceptances to people who just missed the cut the first time. This time they also send out wait-lists/rejections to everyone else. Then there's the "3rd wave" which is the "oh snap, we still have spots available because not enough people want to come!" This is when they contact people who are on the wait-list, and if there are still not enough people coming to fill open spots then they go ahead and look at the best rejected people again...

The first generation Italian-American in me is regretting not making an offer the schools couldn't refuse.... Three of my schools have acceptances up and I've gotten nothing.

I burn every rejection letter to release the evil spirits...however, it doesn't seem to work.

Ok, I'm officially freaking out because there were only 6 acceptances posted last year and we're already at 4.........

There's no way they are done...I mean, I know not everyone who Stanford will accept is on this website and will report it, but since they said they wouldn't tell us until the first week in February I can only assume that some people are getting "courtesy calls" from certain professors. These aren't the official letters, but calls letting certain people know they got in. ...I hope...

ahhhh!! Freaking out now that Stanford is starting to come out with acceptances!

shirt, tie, slacks, weatherproof but dressy shoes in addition to your overcoat, scarf, gloves and a hat for the cold weather. Always dress up for an interview.
